3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Saturday, October 10th at 11:00 AM (RSVP’s close Thursday, October 8th at 5 PM; no late sign ups will be allowed)

Come compete and hang out at The APEX!

There will be drinks and snacks to enjoy while watching the other teams compete against each other. We will have the simulator up and running to play on as well as our game room with ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, darts, and cards/board games table.

We’re looking for 3 people (employee or guest) who would be willing to referee games during our 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at The APEX! Anyone who refs will receive a FREE APEX T-shirt! Rules:

• There will be two half court games going at all times.
• Double elimination.
• Preliminary games will be to 11 (win by 2 points) and semi-finals and finals will be to 21 (win by 2 points).
• There MUST be at least one active employee on each team to participate.
• 10′ baskets, do not move.
• Athletic shoes must be worn on the sports court, no exceptions. We would recommend everyone wear basketball shoes to avoid injuries.
• Coin flip during round 1 to determine what team has initial possession. Winner starts with the ball after that. If both teams won last game, coin flip will determine who has initial possession.
• All jump balls go to the defensive team.
• Call your own fouls, if a player is fouled their team will take the ball at the top of the arc.
• Each goal scored within the arc is worth one (1) point. Goals scored behind the arc are worth two (2) points.
  

Sign up by entering your email, adjusting the amount of attendees (1, 2 or 3) and clicking “next” and then put both your name and your teammate(s) name(s) along with your team name in parentheses on a single RSVP

If you only have two people in your team or don’t have a team but still want to participate, just sign your name(s) and we will do our best to pair you with a team and/or find you another teammate. I will reach out to you via teams or email prior to Saturday if we are/aren’t able to pair you with a team.

Families and friends are welcome, please ensure you list guest(s) (even if they don’t plan on participating) in the designated box so their is enough food/drinks for everyone. Friends and family are encouraged to participate but they need to be signed up with your team or listed as a guest prior to 10/8 at 5 PM.
